Sootheのギタリストとして活動するとともに、竹本健一など、様々なアーティストのバックサポートも行う。

また、プレーヤーとしてだけでなく、持ち前のセンスの良さを生かした作曲活動も行い、ウェブサイトのBGMをはじめ、映画のサウンドトラック、CM音楽、アミューズメント機器BGM、アーティストへの楽曲提供など、多方面で活躍中。 

Chikao mainly plays classic gut guitar, but also he has built his talent in electric and acoustic guitars with various styles.

Besides being Soothe member, he has actively supported various artists like Kenichi Takemoto as a backing musician and played sessions.

Remarkably, he is also gifted as a producer of songs, tracks, movie soundtracks, commercial music, BGM for website and amusement games etc.
